It was a pretty dismal start today and stayed like it until after lunch. It didn't rain though but it was pretty meh. The clouds broke after about 2pm and it ended up an cracking afternoon and now into the evening. Currently 17°C at just after 7pm. :cool:

Bright and sunny here this morning but it does have that showery feel to the sky, with big, heavy and grey clouds lurking. Nice at the moment though and 14°C.

Posting as head's up for those that might not be familiar with it but I got an e-mail today, letting me know that my Window's Defender subscription has been 'kindly' paid and here is my invoice. :rolleyes: :bat: I won't be responding as it's a scam, be wary troopers. (y)

It's rained now since about lunchtime yesterday. Nothing heavy but enough to soak everything. I cut the grass yesterday, knowing it was coming. It's showers this morning, with bright spells inbetween but it's set like this for the day. Currently 15°C.

Wonderful set. I love May, it's an awesome place. How long did you get on the island? I don't think I'll make it again this year.

Thanks Stu. The joys, eh? 2 main resons Stu. Kingfishers love a new perch, I wouldn't quite say it's like a magnet to them, I've had them ignore new ones too many times to know but they can't resist at least a look. Leaving it out would mean they'd just get used to it and if they didn't...

We didn't really get the anticipated thunder storms here, it just seemed to surround us. As mentioned, I could hear it in the distance at times but it never got to us. It's been a quiet night and currently, a murky but dry morning at 13°C.

I feel like the rugby player who missed a last minute, do or die kick today. 3.5 hrs near one of my nests, plenty of flybys, they had the odd look at the new perch that had appeared but mainly just flew past it. It was getting time to pack up, I always give it 5 minutes over the cut off time...
