    3 damselflies

All lovely shots Tara, I use the Nikon Z8 and 100-400 S lens for all my Butterfly and whatever I see now and my macro lens for anything smaller.

Great find Kevin, What was the location for this one? Maybe you could join Jumping Spider Biology FB group to find out what Jumper it is.

    Gynandromorph Poplar Hawk Moth

Yes a Melitaea aetherie ( Heath Fritillary) and something like Melitaea didyma (Spotted Fritillary) I really do not think this has been PS`d.

    Gynandromorph Poplar Hawk Moth

That`s really nice and unusual , a great find. On this subject, I am in a couple of FB Groups and someone last week posted a Butterfly, not like yours here though, this one was 50/50 of what looked like 2 different Butterflies, now that`s weird.

That`s a great shot and as others have said, very clear. What is your lighting/macro set-up ?

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Hi Bill. If you mean the little white dot with the left and right arrows either side then yes the Z8 has it so I guess the Z9 also.

    Lovely shot and location.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Thans Si, A very versatile lens for what it is, the size does not bother me for close up or Landscape but I do put it on the shoulder sling when walking about. The MFD is very good and actually closer than I initially thought. All shots are hand held btw.
