That is bonkers. Keeping the original lens cap was important to me, and after a bit of googling found this one which fits perfectly - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B086MLCBHK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details If anything it feels better. Without it, the cap pushes onto the focus ring and...

Out of interest, how do you find the EVF? I've found that no matter what I try with settings for EVF brightness, colour, white balance etc, the EVF on my X100VI simply doesn't match what I see on the LCD. I can make it match in specific lighting conditions, but as soon as the light changes...

Late afternoon in Nara. Despite how it looks, this is actually the entrance to someone's driveway, right on a main road - they just had a rather nice wall which lined up nicely with the trees behind. Kyoto by Jamie Moulton, on Flickr

How have you found the move from T3 to T5? I'm looking to do the same, but haven't been hands on with one yet. They're apparently more "plasticy", is it a noticeable thing or is that just people trying to make a problem of the whole "Made in China" thing?

Byodo-in, Uji. Tough to get a shot with no/few people in - They let large groups into the main hall in the middle every 5 minutes or so. Due to stragglers exiting and new people eager to get in, you get roughly 10 seconds every 5 minutes to get the shot. Kyoto by Jamie Moulton, on Flickr

It seems there is a healthy street racing scene in Kanazawa. Caught this guy at the end of a very long and rainy day, when we were almost back to the hotel. I heard it coming, but the camera was in my bag and not set up for it at all. I grabbed what I could as it thundered past. I stood there...
