The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I’m looking at adding or changing to XH2 or Panasonic S5II from Canon R6. Yeh I liked the feel of my old XT3, just feels a pleasure to shoot with.

Did consider the XH2 but as i kept my R3 and 1 Series cameras for sports i didn't need the bigger frame buffers and preferred the dial controls and smaller form of the XT-5 to be honest. Remember my XT-2 being so much fun to shoot with and so far have been blown away by the colours and image quality but now fancy a few more lenses with better sharpness to get the best from the new sensor.

It would be nice to see how a 200mm F2 and a 150-600 mated with a XT5 (XH2) would perform at a BSB meeting!

Was there a classic car/vehicle show somewhere down here, Paul? I went over the Moor yesterday afternoon (Exeter, Moretonh'stead, Two Bridges, Buckfastleigh, Newton Abbot, Dawlish, Exeter) and saw lots of classics, including several hot-rods on the lowland bits!

Not that I know of mate, this one was just outside the Pub where I had stopped on my rideout.

Actually had my XT-2 save my bacon for a year at BSB when my main brand new 1DX MKII at the time gave up after 900 shots so the Fuji is more than capable although i would say not as consistent or robust as a 1 series.

Certainly would like to try the 200 on the XT-5 but think the buffer for RAW shots would be a problem for some critical work.

Had a lovely morning in Hendon Road cemetery.
Quiet, with lots of wildlife A relaxing time.

From website …
Near the Chapel is an old Columbarium wall, this is where ashes were interred during the early to mid 20th century.

Having been reading about getting the best out of the XT-5 sensor and being only a couple of weeks before my trip to comic con with my boys im looking for ideas on another lens to accompany my 16mm f1.4. Having owned the previous none weather sealed 56mm im tempted to grab this as seems the contrast and A/F performance are improved but wondered if there are any other i might have a look at that would pair with the 16mm and get the best out of the new camera?

I picked up a Viltrox 13mm 1.4 recently but hadn't really used it in anger. Aurora on friday night seemed like a great opportunity.

Have to say I'm bloody impressed with these Viltrox primes. I bought the 27mm a few months ago and that lens is just glorious. 75mm now very much on my radar!

One from the 27mm.

Love both of those shots :)

I have the Viltrox 13mm and I got the 23mm a couple of weeks ago, they're both really good.
