The Ultrawide and Fisheye Open Thread

Abbey School hall, High Wycombe. Photographed with the Samyang XP 10mm, this is a very high quality ultra wide lens with little distortion. Optically this is a great lens although the initial image is a bit green when compared to Nikon lenses.

That river looks high and fast-flowing
The flood meadow was pretty much full.

A major upgrade to the defences was only completed a couple of years ago, after decades of problems...

Andrew - nice image - I also have this lens - it is a cracker! Great price too for something this good.

I’ve recently bought an Olympus E-PL8 for travelling, city breaks mostly. I want to dip my toe into super wide/fisheye photography so I’ve just taken delivery of a Brightin Star 10mm F5.6. Came from China in just 7 days and cost less than £60. I’m looking forward to using it in anger.

Ive recently bought 2 ultrawide/Fisheye lenses from Aliexpress. To fit onto my M43 Olympus E-PL8.
Both were around the £60 mark and came shipped to my door in less than 10 days.
Very impressed with both lenses.
1: Brightin Star 10mm F5.6 (fixed aperature)
2: Risespray 7.5mm F2.8 (full aperture range to F22)

Ive reviewed them both in the Talk Equipment section.
